Nova Academy is Awarded an Estrella Award

The Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (OCHCC) 17th Annual Estrella Awards was held on April 17th, in the Grand Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel. Olive Crest’s NOVA Academy was recognized with the Estrella for “Educator of the Year”.

The Education Award is presented to an individual or organization that has demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community through the support, advancement, and education of Hispanic youth, small business, and corporate partnerships to promote long-term academic and/or professional success.

The OCHCC has been influencing public policy on behalf of the business community, helping Orange County become a thriving and dynamic marketplace of opportunity. Their mission is to represent the interests of and provide access to Orange County’s 30,000 Hispanic –owned businesses. They support the development of these businesses by providing opportunities for networking, legislative advocacy, access to capital, education and training programs.

It was an honor to have received this Estrella Award and recognition by the community and the OCHCC.
