Commit to Your Future Daily Congratulations on making the choice to become an Olive Crest Academy, Nova Early College High School Eagle and Soar to New Heights. It has been said, “Knowledge is Power”. It is my belief that knowledge in and of itself does not provide power or influence. Only when we apply what we have been taught to our everyday life does knowledge have any effect on our life and the lives of others. So a more accurate phrase is, “The USE of Knowledge is Power!” Olive Crest Academy, NOVA Early College High School provides rigorous and challenging opportunities to best prepare our students to USE acquired knowledge in life during and after leaving our academy with a high school diploma and college credits or an associate’s degree. Each of you has chosen this unique and challenging school environment for a different reason. Some of have selected this school to gain a new start or direction, while for others your decision may have been influenced by life challenges and circumstances. Early college high school may also have been a factor in your decision to attend this excellent educational opportunity. Regardless of the reason you have chosen to become a part of a family. A family which will support and care for you and one which will challenge and push you beyond what you thought you were capable. As each student steps onto this campus they are making a huge stride toward your future by fully committing to our rigorous educational program you are preparing yourself for life and the vast opportunities a quality education makes available for you in the future. Every day is an opportunity for you learn and gain more essential knowledge. It is your choice how well you use these opportunities to learn and increase the amount of knowledge you acquire to “USE” as you navigate life! I challenge parents, staff and community partners to make the commitment to the future of our students. I challenge every student to commit to walking across the stage at gradation, both here at NOVA Early College High School and at Santa Ana Community College, and receive their diploma. Together we will work as a team to Soar to New Heights as EAGLES! Robert Casper M.Ed Principal, Olive Crest Academy, Nova Early College High School |
